Case Studies

3 Goals and 8 Principles Strategic Plan
The Problem:
Faculty and staff engagement with the "3 Goals & 8 Principles" cornerstone framework was low. Without a unified creative approach, the strategic plan initiative risked being perceived as abstract rather than actionable.
My Role:
Executive Leadership & Creative Strategy: Provided systems leadership to translate a highly conceptual administrative framework into a visible, actionable districtwide campaign while coordinating alignment between the Chancellor’s Office, PRM, and campus leaders.
Strategy & Systems:
Engineered a cohesive messaging architecture linking the 3G8P framework to daily operational decision-making. Implemented brand governance parameters (typography, color palettes) and unified the intake process via the Publications Managers network.
Execution:
Executed a districtwide, multi-channel rollout spanning environmental graphics, digital banners, email templates, and web integration. Managed vendor production schedules to ensure simultaneous multi-campus installations.
The Outcome:
Significantly heightened framework visibility and faculty integration in program planning while slashing fragmented, ad-hoc design requests by 25% and 22% engagement growth in workshops, pop-up displays across campus, panel discussions and presentation efforts.

QEP Recharge Campaign

The Problem:
The institution faced low faculty and staff engagement with the Quality Enhancement Plan (QEP), resulting in limited institutional awareness and fragmented adoption of critical student success goals.
My Role:
Executive Leadership & Creative Strategy: Served as the District Director of Creative Strategy, providing cross-functional leadership, creative direction, and messaging architecture to translate institutional benchmarks into a unified, high-impact campaign.
Strategy & Systems:
Developed an integrated communications framework mapping QEP objectives directly to the District’s Mission, Vision, Values (MVV), and 2030 strategic priorities. Established unified visual guidelines and cross-campus intake workflows to maintain brand integrity and compliance.
Execution:
Deployed a multi-channel digital and physical campaign including banners, posters, email templates, and campus signage. Coordinated the districtwide rollout through the Publications Managers Initiative to synchronize schedules, while implementing metrics tracking for event attendance and digital actions.
The Outcome:
Successfully expanded cross-campus collaboration, resulting in a 20% reduction in creative request turnaround times. Driven higher participation in QEP workshops, pop-up displays across campus, panel discussions and presentation efforts.

Program Guided Pathways Campaign
The Problem:
The inherent complexity of the Program Guided Pathways initiative led to fragmented academic messaging, making it difficult for students, faculty, and staff to effectively navigate program tracking and engagement.
My Role:
Executive Leadership & Creative Strategy: Served as the strategic creative leader responsible for translating complex student-success strategies into an accessible visual framework while driving cross-functional collaboration with Advising, Facilities, and Digital Strategy.
Strategy & Systems:
Translated the student success strategy into a visual framework. Designed an accessible messaging architecture, established core brand governance (iconography, layout styles), and leveraged cross-functional partnerships with Advising, Facilities, and Digital Strategy.
Execution:
Produced and distributed a cohesive suite of multi-channel assets, including advising handouts, digital banners, and web tools. Synchronized the campaign rollout across campuses using standardized workflow models.
The Outcome:
Boosted student awareness and framework utilization during advising sessions, ultimately reducing ad-hoc, off-brand design requests by 30% and 22% engagement growth in workshops, pop-up displays across campus, panel discussions and presentation efforts.

Publications Managers Initiative

The Problem:
Fragmented communication and siloed, campus-specific creative request processes led to inconsistent branding, duplicated creative efforts, and operational delays for student-facing materials.
My Role:
Executive Leadership & Creative Strategy: Directed system-wide change as the primary architect of a new institutional operating rhythm, designing centralized workflows and structural governance parameters to unify creative operations across all campuses.
Strategy & Systems:
Introduced an institutional operating rhythm by formalizing recurring cross-campus meetings to sync priorities. Created a robust brand governance framework, standardized intake/approval pipelines, and deployed operational cadence to improve resource allocation.
Execution:
Directed bi-weekly and monthly campus alignment sessions, launched shared asset management templates, and established centralized reporting dashboards to track proof cycles, request volumes, and compliance.
The Outcome:
Achieved 100% compliance with TCCD identity standards across all campus publications and realized a 25% acceleration in creative request turnaround times through standardized workflows 30% fewer proof cycles, and workload management.

60th Anniversary Campaign
The Problem:
The institution required a high-visibility, unified milestone campaign that could simultaneously engage diverse audiences (alumni, students, donors, community partners) without fracturing the core institutional brand.
My Role:
Executive Leadership & Creative Strategy: Exercised top-tier creative leadership and systems thinking to transform a historical milestone into a forward-looking institutional asset, aligning parameters across the Chancellor's Office, Advancement, and Public Relations and Marketing.
Strategy & Systems:
Developed a commemorative storytelling framework anchoring the anniversary to the district's historical impact and future vision. Designed custom identity guidelines (logos, color palettes) and integrated approval systems across Advancement and Digital teams.
Execution:
Directed the deployment of large-format event signage, gala materials, social assets, and commemorative digital media while managing external vendor production lines under strict event-driven deadlines.
The Outcome:
Generated widespread community and alumni engagement, elevated brand equity across all campuses, and maintained absolute brand governance—reducing ad-hoc design submissions by 30% and 22% engagement growth in workshops, pop-up displays across campus, panel discussions and presentation efforts.
